PADI - ENRICHED AIR DIVER COURSE
The PADI – Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.

COURSE INFORMATION:
During your PADI – Enriched Air Diver course you’ll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations. During a practical session, and two optional (or required) scuba dives, you’ll:
- Discuss managing oxygen exposure
- Practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba tank
- Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox
The PADI – Eriched Air diver course takes 1 day.
TO ENROLL:
For the PADI – Enriched Air Diver course, you must be 12 years old or older and verify a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver rating or higher certification (or qualifying certification from another training organization). You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. A medical questionnaire has to be completed and might indicate a contraindication to check with your doctor.
GETTING STARTED:
All of our PADI – Enriched Air Diver courses are private or semi private. We can start every day you want us to. Stop by at our dive shop to enroll in the course, get your materials and start reading the book. Your PADI Instructor will schedule time with you to, check your progress and make sure you understand important scuba diving information.
EQUIPMENT:
PADI – PADI – Enriched Air Diver course: You’ll need a dive computer along with the rest of your basic scuba equipment. Your PADI Instructor will explain the equipment that you need and may suggest additional gear.
