Looking for the first step in working with scuba as a career? Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program.

Emergency 1st Responder Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this program you expand your dive knowledge and sharp your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. PADI Divemaster is the prerequisite certification for both the PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications.

How the course works:
Much of the Divemaster learning is self-directed and while the motivated candidate can complete the Divemaster program in four weeks, allowing six weeks makes a more relaxed pace and gives plenty of time for all the dive course objectives to be met.

PADI Divemaster crew pack

To take this course, you must be:
Be a certified PADI Rescue Diver or have an equivalent rating. As well the candidate has to proof CPR and first aid training within the last 24 months. Have completed and logged at least 20 dives as documented by the individual's personal logbook. Note: at least 60 dives are required to complete the program. Submit medical clearance for diving signed by a physician, attesting to fitness to dive.
