You prefer to do your theoretical part any time before your arrival in Costa Rica. So you can spend more time in the water. You can easily do this at any time by participating in the PADI eLearning – Open Water Diver Course program.

PADI eLearning option has a fee, so have your credit card ready when getting registered. If you register for PADI eLearning through this link here on our website, the Open Water Course will cost you $ 499 USD (part 1 will be charged at sign up and part 2 with Deep Blue Diving in Costa Rica).

COURSE INFORMATION:

This course teaches student divers the fundamental knowledge and skills they need to dive with a buddy, independent of supervision.
The PADI eLearning – Open Water Diver Course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge Development (online, home study ) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
On two days you will do 4 Open Water Dives from the boat to review your skills and explore our underwater world with your PADI dive instructor!
It takes only 2-3 days to complete

TO ENROLL:

For the PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. A medical questionnaire has to be completed and might indicate a contraindication to check with your doctor.

No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

GETTING STARTET:

All of our PADI eLearning – Open Water Diver Courses are private or semi private. We can start every day you want us to. Stop by at our dive shop to enroll in the course. Your PADI Instructor will schedule time with you to check your progress and make sure you understand important scuba diving information.

EQUIPMENT:

In the PADI eLearning – Open Water Diver Course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD) and a tank. The equipment you wear varies, depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical, temperate or cold water.
