PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE
Ready to take your diving to the next level? Get certified with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.
This PADI – Advanced Open Water Diver course consists of a total of 5 Papagayo training dives which will include a Deep Dive between 60ft (18m) and 100ft (30m) and a Navigation Dive. This course takes 2 days. The selection of the remaining three dives is up to you and include:
- AWARE-Fish Identification
- Boat Diving
- Drift Diving
- Multilevel and Computer diving
- Nitrox (additional fee for nitrox tank)
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Underwater Photography (with own camera)
- Wreck Diving
- All year round
- Training dive tour to diffrent Papagayo dive sites
- Minimum age: 12
- 2 days
- Day 1: Boat dives, meeting time 8:00 AM
- Day 2: Boat dives, meeting time 8:00 AM
- 5 air tanks (80cf./12l aluminium) and weights
- Full set of rental equipment
- 5 Open water training dives
- Bilingual PADI dive instructor
- Softdrinks, fruits and snacks
- Comfortabel and custom designed dive boats with canopy

- Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
- Towels, sunhat
- A credit card or cash for payment
- Cash for tips
- Reef-safe sunscreen

Visibility and Watertemperature can change on a daily basis.
VISIBILITY:
- 15 – 80 feet
- 5 – 25m
WATERTEMPERATURE:
- Average 78-86F° – Thermoclines in Feb/Mar down to 65F°
- Average 25-30C° – Thermoclines in Feb/Mar down to 19C°
- Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Good physical health required
- Medical questionnaire must be completed
- Doctor’s approval may be needed depending on medical answers

This course is designed to build your confidence and expand your diving skills, helping you feel more comfortable and capable underwater. What you learn depends on your interests and the Adventure Dives you choose, but typically includes:

- Improving your underwater navigation skills using a compass
